Re: Found my Elizabeth CHINN, guess where!
In Response To: Re: Found my Elizabeth CHINN, guess where! ()
Thanks Denise and James, Denise I am guessing that she came to Pittsburgh about 1895 - 1900, that is when her other daughter, my great grandmother, Delila CHINN CLARK arrived with JAMES CLARK. I get angry every time I think of what not having the 1890 Census did to our research! I would also tell anyone that can't find their relatives in VA after 1880 to look for them in PA OHIO etc. I found so many familiar surnames while searching for my CLARK CHINN lines. I know the LEE/CLIFFIN/CARTER's from Rappahannock went to PA around that time. Many were working in the steel mills. I feel like my gg grandma CHINN is happy that I found her!
