Hi,
I'm hoping someone has information regarding the Holmes family of Dekalb County, Georgia. I believe this family may be related to my gg-grandmother Minnie Samuels or may be able to assist in clarifying relationships.
I've been researching Minnie for the past 4 yrs, constantly hitting brick walls. It is unfortunate that the only person available to give any information is my grandmother, she was only a child of 8 yrs. old when Minnie supposedly died;the information she has is very limited. My grandmothers father, Lewis Sims is Minnie Samuels son.
What I truly believe is that Minnie was very evasive with census takers. Perhaps, she thought they were nosey! Anyway, all I have is a tangled web of information I'm trying to make light of.
