I know from the census that FPOC did use "Sr." and "Jr." to distinguish between family members. I'm not sure whether slaves did. Slave owners seem to have referred to younger and older slaves with the same names (from the letters I've read) as "Big ---" and "Little ---" or "Old ---" and "Young ---." That doesn't mean that the slaves referred to themselves in this way, though.
