Tony - I think you are onto something. I am elated!!! I remember seeing that record several years ago - but it didn't click because I didn't know that Louise's name was Louise (only knew Lou) and didn't know her surname. I took a look - and bless you - I have a strong hunch it's her. Since Ernest is a rare name in Nashville - and she did have an Ernest - and I had a sneakin' suspicion she had him before becoming a Mrs. Jones (if she ever did). Now I have to figure out what she did with my grandfather, George Oliver, bn 1875. I was under the impression as a child that he wasn't raised by his mother. I think he may have been raised by his father's family - he was 16 when he moved with them to KS - after they moved from TN. They aren't from Nashville (Davidson County), they are from Wilson County. I haven't connected his father John Oliver to the Olivers from Wilson county yet...there is another George Oliver in their branch - one year younger than my grandfather so it makes things a bit confusing. Thank you very much for taking the time to look! Denise
