My grandma volunteer at school would like to learn more about her father's side of the family. She is 87 years old. The only information she has was from her old school. Her father's name was Capt. Davis (that's how it was written) and mother's name was Jane Williams.
They lived in Empress, Brooks, Georgia and she went to school in Quitman, Brooks, GA. (Pineville or Pineview School). My grandma volunteer's birthdate might be confusing but she settled on 9/1/1919. She thought it was 1918 or even 1920 but school records showed 1919. Her name is Florence. She has lived in Georgia and Florida.
