Beatrice was said to be the white sister of my great great grandmother, Felecia Hymel-Raphael. I can only assume that Hymel was the madian name. This is all I know at this time. Because my grandmother was black and the child of a master and slave i can not find documents with her parents name listed, but it was passed down word of mouth that it was open knowledge of her being his child and her sister was often seen visiting but this is all i have i'm really hoping finding information on Beatrice will lead to knowing more about my gggrandmother.
