Hello everyone, it's been awhile since I posted. I've found several family members since the last post, but I've hit a brick wall. I need to get the death certificates for my grandmother, ggrandfather, and my ggrandmother. I think I found my grandmother and my ggrandfather in the Texas death index. I need to know their parents name to get the death certificates and I don't know that info. Is there a way to get the certificates without this info? My grandmother was Lucy Mitchell (Cummings was her maiden name). The index list her death 8/10/1931. I think this is her because my mother was born 3/27/1931 and she died a few months after my mom's birth. The index list my ggrandfather, King Herod Mitchell death's on 12/04/1937. I haven't found anything on my ggrandmother. Her name was Ollie Mitchell (Campbell was her maiden name). They all died in Crockett Texas, Houston County. I appreciate any help.
