I am researching the Thomas family who lived in Wetumpka, Elmore Co., AL.

The 1940 census lists a Julius F. Thomas, age 22, who is the son of Julius C. Thomas, age 45, and Minnie Thomas, age 43.

I have come across an author named Julius F. Thomas, 1918- , who wrote a book about black teachers in Alabama. The book was published by Cornell University, Ithaca, New York in 1949.

I have not been able to find a biography about this man to verify if he is the same Julius F. Thomas that I am researching.

Any suggestions or assistance would be appreciated.
