I'm just posting this in an attempt to put some information out there on this branch of my family in the hopes of someone connecting with me. Ellen Stanley is my grandfather Tharner James Pipkins maternal great-grandmother.

(Starred names are names which seem to be repeated in both families.)

The repeated names are possible clues that could lead to me finding out who Elsie & Ellen's parents were. The sister's both carried the maiden name Stanley, but in 1870 were listed under the surname Ragan. They likely had other relatives in the area and I am trying to determine who they were.

Ellen had a child by James Golden son of Nelson & Agnes who lived next door to the family in 1870. Thanks to 23andme I was able to confirm this family story via DNA testing.
