Ive done pretty good over the last 12-15 years researching my mother's father's family whom we no nothing about, however since we live in Kentucky its hard. Im wondering if the 1940 census list a daughter who was born in 1931 Martha Rose Foster but I cant find anything else about he, when my greatgrandmother died in 1980 the obit i found didnt list Martha so i wonder if she died early? how would I find out. Also I cant Melvin Foster born 1905 or 1906 born in Ga and his death index said his mother name was Rosie and wife Carrie, how come i cant find him in 1920 or 1910 census in ga or al?
