I need help. I am looking for census documentation for the existence (birth date and parents) of a Delilah Hughes before and after the 1880 census. I would like to know her birth date, her madien name and her parent's name, when and where she died. It is critical that I find out this information and that I am able have documentation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know that she was married to Rueben Hughes and lived in South River (Augusta County) Virginia in the 1880 census. She her husband and children were listed as mulattoes. After 1880 she seems to just disappear. Her daughter Mildred my greatgrandmother marries and dies in Nelson County and her son Charles marries and dies in Amherst County.
