WOW, What a coincedence!!!! About four weeks ago here in Springfield, Ohio I was contacted by the Program Director of Elderly United(EU), a senior citizen's service organization. He introduced me (via phone) to a grand-nephew of Andrew Jackson Beard living here in Springield and we (nephew & me) are curently "working' the genealogy of the family.

This descendant has some very interesting documents and stories relating to the plight of Andrew Jackson Beard which were used in a display at the EU during a program held on the 18th of Jan. remembering Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The theme of the program was "African-American Dreamers"

Will keep you posted on our findings.
