How strange..I was just beginning to trace my maternal ancestry and came across your e-mail. My grandmother, is Odalee Chestang who has passed on and had twin daughters, Arthurine and Geraldine. She had sisters, (Odessa, Bessie, Pearl, Esther, Nita, and brothers Jeff and Hurley Paul) I have often heard of the story of a French doctor named Pierre Chestang as being my great grandfather and owning a small town outside of Mobile Alabama named Chestang ALA.
