Greetings from another branch of the O'Kelly family tree. We are researching family records, in aid of discovering the exact birth date of Ruth O'Kelly Bergen. Mrs. Bergen is the daughter of C.G. O'Kelly and Cora Alice (née Bass) O'Kelly, who was Dr. O'Kelly's second wife.

Mrs. Bergen was born in Winston-Salem in July of 1905 or 1906, we believe. North Carolina does not have birth records prior to 1913, and thanks to mid-life vanity(!), other official records (census, marriage license, social security, etc.) indicate varying birth dates.
