Gloria Pin/c/kney bn 1936 Georgia

I have been searching for this surname of descendants. Gloria is the last known one I have found on the 1940 census. Her parents were Robert bn 1912 Johnston SC and Cynthia bn 1915 Ga. In the 1940 census They were living in the household with her grandma Earlena Coggins Pinkney. Grandfather William Pinkney Sr was deceased by this year. I must say here, this surname is spelled many different ways on documents. I really dont know whether to leave the 'c' in or out so I just include both in my text wherever I post and explain the reasons. Earlena lived in Merriwether Ga with her daughers Lucille and Ethel until her death in 1960. Robert Pinkney was listed in the newspaper obituary as being in attendance as well as Earlena's siblings from Ohio and Michigan at her funeral. I was able to trace Cynthia and Robert in the Ga. 1943 city directory, where it stated he was a laborer living at 313 McDaniel SW Apt 151. After that year nothing more for his family group. PINCKNEY surname no matter the spelling is my brickwall. The ggrandparents were Harriet Vance bn 1856 Johnston and Henry Pinckston/Pinkney bn 1843 NC. From 1880-1900 the surname for this family was PINCKSTON on the Johnston census, then it changed to Pinkney. Roberts parents were William Pinkney Sr bn 1884 Johnston SC and Earlena Coggins bn Ga. William Pinkney had many more siblings whom I have not been able to trace. :\
