I recently found a Virginia Marriage Record (Virgina, Marriages, 1785-1940)for the marriage of Littleton Coleman, born March 1864, and Harriet Thurston, born April 1865.
The marriage occurred Dec 03, 1887.

I suspect that Harriet Thurston is the sister of my maternal grandfather, George Thurston. Although the record says that Harriet's parents were Samuel and Harriet Thurston, they were Harriet's grandparents. This is indicated by the 1880 census record for Pine Top, Middlesex, Virginia.
