My family is descendanted from Nathan Mattox b. 1742 d. 1828 in Franklin, Virginia. I have found several of my ancestors who were fathered by his offspring but I am sure there are many more yet to be located.

The following descendants of Nathan Mattox, I have:
David Mattox (1783-1855),
Samuel Gabriel Mattox (1804-1896),
Michael George Washington Mattox-Georgia (1825-1891),
Robert Powell Mattox and James Clark Mattox-Georgia (1830-1865).
