Still waiting to exhale. A few days ago I called my "new" cousin to get the number of the 96 y/o relative, but she couldn't talk right then and said she'd call me back (sigh). There were some family medical problems so I am keeping them in my prayers.

When she and I initially connected, I explained to her that my connection to her fav Uncle Rufus Walker was through his brother (my dad), Claude Walker. She said that she heard from a different older relative that her mother used to date a Claude Walker. Boy, she and I might have wound up being sisters instead of cousins LOL. She was going to try to confirm if it was my dad her mother dated or if it was his nephew also named Claude, also born 1924. I am soooo waiting to hear from her.
