BUXTON, WOODARD, MALINDA, RANCE, AND LYDIA
Malinda is suppose to be full blooded Choctaw Indian and I am trying to prove the Indian Blood is in the Buxtons. Rance was the son of a white Plantation owner so he would be half white, half Choctaw. Lydia married Rance and she was suppose to be full blooded Creek Indian. They had 12 children in Shubuta, Clarke County Mississippi. Malinda married Frank Buxton (negro) possibly seven years after she birthed Rance in 1858 in Alabama, Frank is also from Alabama. My grandaughter is a decendant from Rance's son Warner Buxton. Malinda would be her 5 grt grandmother.
