Re: Disappointment in MD Archives

Dear Ky'a-
I did note that Joseph Carr was not in the WWII draft registration cards.. atleast that I could find. I did find him in 1930 ( I think). I found him in Greenwich, Gloucester, NJ but he is now married to Mary and not Daisy. Under age at first married she says that she married at 32 and she is 35 at the time of census so that is why I think she is wife number two. Charles and Joseph are there. the only difference I noted is that John says he was born in Indiana but my grandfather he said he was born in Hawaii in the 1930 census knowing full well he was born in Maryland... who knows?? Lastly, he is listed as a property owner and an address and is given. Try to get the deed there may be information there....hope this helps. Check on nearby churches for memberships too
