Cynthia, I can tell that you are fired up about this family situation. I think we've mostly all have had some family that this has happened with. I know my family has. However, based on what you've said here I just can't sympathize with your deceased uncle. It sounds like it was because of his actions that this explosion happened at his funeral no less. As far as the genealogy goes, nothing is stopping her from finding her paternal family genealogy. Just the way you were able to research the family she will be able to as well if she decides to do so.
