Ok....so I know that Josephine Leonard married William Lorenzo Stewart on Sept. 28, 1904. Josephine was born in 1887 in Philadelphia, PA an according to her marriage certificate; her parents were Henrietta Leonard and Jacobi Leonard. However, when I read the slip that someone signed to give her permission to marry, it states that her father was James A. Leonard.

I then found, when I searched Henrietta Leonard that there was a Henrietta Leonard that died at the age of 1 years old. That little girl’s parents were James A. Leonard and Henretta Leonard. Could these be Josephine’s parents as well? Was the Henrietta who died Josephine’s sister? I know that Josephine grew up in South Philadelphia.

I am just trying to find Josephine’s family. I could use some help with this. ☺
