I have searched those years but not in DC. I have some records for black dabbs in 1870 and 1880. My hunch is they are related to Dabbs out of Virginia. I suppose I may never have concrete confirmation so I will most likely explore the Dabbs DNA project in the near future. However the info u found is from what data base?
