I will start with my aunt Josie Williams. She was born as Josiebell to Mary Thomas and Joe I. Evans on August 1, 1906. I do not know when her mother died, but she was always with her grandparents Marshall Thomas a farmer and his wife. By the way this is in Long Cane, Abbeville County S.C. After growing up she moved off to Charlotte N.C. where she married someone named Williams. She had a daughter Annie Bell Mitchell. Josie died in 9 August 1962 at her home on Horner Street, in a small Charlotte town of Huntersville. She was buried at the Pinewood Cemetery and came under Alexander Funeral Home.
