Sarah Barefield Lewis is my g grandmother. We have no knowledge of any of her family members. She is in the Burke County, Georgia 1870, 1880, and 1900 census along with husband George Lewis and family. They were once owned by Ransom (also Ranson) and Sarah Barrow Lewis, also in the 1870 and 1880 Burke census.
Oral history has her related to Sarah Barrow. Researching the Anglo Lewis and Barrow families revealed no additional information.
