Hello I was reading your reply about other researchers in Akron OH and I am interested in the Chubb family from Floyd county GA who was married into the Neal family of Cave Springs GA. I do not have their married Names but there were three sisters Millie Ann, Nancy, and Etta {short for Henrietta} and a brother John M Neal. Their father was James Neal born Pike County GA 1860. I am following this as a lead to find out if their mother was Mary[Mollie} Mitchell. I have a marriage record for a Pike county marriage for a couple with the same name Mollie was my great grandmother Nettie Mitchell's sister. The marriage was about 1881 and my oral history says they married and moved to Floyd county and they had a daughter named Henreitta.
They would have moved to Akron after the 1900 census and James is listed as widowed, he died in 1924 I think I have the record have to check. Please ask your group if any of this sound like their family members. Rosa Dawson email addy. Rosadawson@aol.com
