Sandra, I can comfortably say yes, Brum is in my family tree thanks to the research of Daniel and Gordon however I'm not sure if he was the biological father of Sarah's daughter Susan who is my great great grandmother due to her approx birthdate and Brum and Sarah's approx wedding date and the fact that he isn't listed on her death certificate. However I am proceeding with him as her biological father because like you said the dates could be pretty off and Brun probably died pretty early so the informant may not have known much of him. So far, I haven't been able to get in touch with my uncle to validate any of our findings but he isn't very interested in this and doesn't have many memories to offer me so I'm not sure how much good it would do anyway.
Oh, a question, does anyone else think that they might have had typhoid based on the letter from Loretta Davis? Sarah obviously survived whatever it was but what about Brum?
