I don't know if I told you that I have a marriage book of people who married in Stokes Co from 1837 through 1900. I do see where Hue/Hugh Married a Francis Harris/Harriston and many more, from the marriage book look like they lived in some of those places but my husbands direct family lived in Saurtown,Danybury,Meadow,and even in snowcreek and then Winston Salem NC. I looked for the cemteries in Stokes Co. and people we connected with didn't know much about the area they were to young. Except for the Mabes and they did not have time. Good talking with you
