To: Afrigeneas & Dozier descendants all across America

I have started the family researching for my mother’s family. I am looking for my grandfather mother’s side of the family (Dozier's of Edgefield/ Saluda County, SC). On my grandfather social security record, it states Harriet Dozier as his mother.
My grandfather’s children states he as well as family member kept closed and sealed lips about Harriet/ Hattie Dozier. I have no other information about my family besides the info I searched out. Probably her parents could be Pickens and Amelia Dozier according to the website ancestry.com.
This is my brick wall. Please help our family, we would be very grateful for any assistance. Thank you!
