We share some things in common like the name Berkley
Pannell along with Walton research (my Walton research
pertains to the non-related offspring of George and
Judy Walton of Pittsylvania, VA around the late 1800s.
At this time, however, I can't make a connection from
the information you posted.
But I took some time from my research to do a few
look-ups on some of the data you posted, to respond.
It appears that Daily Walton Pannell was survived by
sons, Lemuel and Beckley and a sister named Cordia Davis
... And that Daily's spouse, Lewis Walton, passed about
1937 (according to Daily's obituary posted in the
RALEIGH REGISTER, Beckley, W. VA, Thursday afternoon
newspaper on May 20, 1971. [You listed a Cordia in
your post along with some of Daily's vital information.]
A 1920 Pittsylvania, Tunstall, VA census for Lucinda
Walton and her family lists a daughter named Cordia M.
Walton (see the possible census data confirmation
Lucinda Walton, 66
Howard L Walton, 27
Bertha S Walton, 19
Cordia M Walton, 18
Matilda Walton, 25
Franklin D Walton, 2 9/12
As I was checking out a few news sources, I was quite
impressed by some of you relatives' achievements. You
have a lot to be proud of and thankful for. But I'm sure
you know that ...
Keep up the good work, and stay blessed!
