I am so glad that you posted this last message. In 1870 census in Beaver Island the Martin family I am researching has the same names that you listed. At this point I will list the household so that you might be able to help me a little more.
Head of household is: Cinda Martin, Beadley is really Bradley then Victoria,Eliza,Sally,Hugh,Corinna,Nathaniel,Frank,Cora.I am assuming that Richard and Henny are Cinda's parents because of there age. Beavers Island is in Stokes Co and I really wanted to find them in 1860 and I believe that the people you spoke of is the same family because they have the same name. BUT WHO IS ALEXANDER MARTIN?
