Daniel -- good to see your post. Both Barbara and I have been in touch with Charlie -- who has quite a lot of information about both the Andersons and the Goldings. By the way, over in Surry Co. I found that on 15 March 1858, Winston Fulton (Samuel's brother) purchased Katy and two children, plus Lewis for $1,195 from James M. Hollingsworth's estate. I believe Katy may be the Katie Fulton, born 1843, living in Mt Airy in 1880 with her children Sallie Q. (born 1867), Isom (1871) and Jay Bird (born 1876). You probably already had that -- but just in case ...
