I am the great grandaughter of Adolph & Gertrude (Chastang) Lafargue. Only days ago I found out about this fact due to my grandmother having her & my grandfathers name changed to "Tulane" in a Mobile, AL court. I am brand new at the type of research and need all the help I can get...please, please, please!!! This is so important to me and my children.

Taken from June 1880 Mobile, AL Census - Address: 142 St. Stephens Rd. (Kosters) (Allenville) Mobile, Alabama. He was a butcher – had stall #1 at the Washington Market in Mobile On 8/31/1876, he married he married two times (see below). Adolph fathered a total of 14 or 15 children (see below). I’m not sure if I am just missing one child or it’s an error.
