If this is your first time here, before you post a question, make sure you have read the detailed information in Guidelines for Beginners. You will gain a good research footing and can learn how to frame
your questions. This Family Group Sheet may also help in getting
started.
If you are asking for help finding ancestors or living relatives please put the surname you are researching in your SUBJECT
line when you post a message. Give us as much information as you know about the TIME PERIOD they were living in a
SPECIFIC state, what COUNTY they lived in, and if possible the name of the CITY or TOWN. If you don't know
how old they were give us a good "guesstimate". For example: GREEN, Henry, Chester County PA, born abt.1900. If you
need help with a specific research area make that clear. Ask for "Help with Military Records" instead of just hollering HELP!!! You
will get much better results that way. And we won't have to try to figure out how to help you, we will know.
