I must admit, AH, that the wars I am aware of are virtually all that America participated in. So, while you have seen more men than women start wars in your lifetime, I can't say the same. I was born at the tail end of WWII; I lived through the subsequent wars [e.g., Viet Nam, Desert Storm, Operation Freedom, the Iraqi War, the Falklands War, etc.; I was too young to know or understand anything about the Korean War.]
You said "Clinton is working under Obama now and has to reflect his style.........." I don't, for a moment, believe that. I don't trust her motivations for a moment - as a matter of fact, I would place more trust in a snake in the grass that the snake won't live up to its nature and bite me than I could EVER place in her.
Regarding Sotomayor, I was not just referring to that speech [the theme of which she repeated for a period of 10 years], but to the tone of her speeches, and the words SHE choose that reflected her views [intentionally or unintentionally] while she was on the lecture circuit.
You said "I could try to put my self in the shoes of a black man but I'll never what it's like to walk in their shoes." Ditto, AH. I could never know what it's like to be a white man and bear the burden of slavery as if it were my fault. My prejudice lies with those people, of whatever color, who seek to dominate another for nothing more than material gain. There, I said it! Let the games begin! ROTFL.
