Pleasant Hill AME Zion Church

Mary Powe Jones 1914-1980
Dorothy Powe McIlwain June 20, 1937--Dec 1980
Lacost Powe--Aug 5, 1910-June 30, 1940
Locaste Powe-- 1962-1994
Petty Powe --1914-1940

I have found many of the families living in Rowan County have relatives from the Lancaster and Chester counties area. They moved to this area to work for Southern Railroad.
