There was a Funderburk funeral home in Lancaster Co some years back.
My family used this home. I did inquire about the records myself. I was told by one of the sons that all records was sent to the vitals offfice and local health department.

Family members say the funeral home was burned, it was a house used as a funeral home. So many records could have been burned.

Well, I also used the death certifcate microfilm in the Carolina Room and online. I have not found any records.

I did contact family members and found some obits.

There are some old ones that still live in Lancaster that might know some Witherspoons that can answer your questions
