I contacted the church where he is buried, and was informed that they did not keep buried records until 1950. He died in 1943. My next step was to request a copy of his death certificate and thats when Vital records informed me that they did not have it and the undertaker at that time must not have turn it in. No relative that was living at that time is living today for me to asked. I will go to the Carolina Room and see if I can find a newspaper from the year 1943 to see if the burial information is there. Thanks for that tip. I did have a cousin who tried to find property records and tax information, and was told they did not record it. It seems like I am at a brick wall. I was only tring to find out his mother and father's name.
