Ann, thanks for the link to the African American photos. I found a relative (Miss Slaughter, a school teacher) in Edgefield County, SC. I asked my aunt about her and she told me that she was my grandfather's first cousin. So I want to say God Bless You in helping me on my quest to find family.

Second, I had the same problem of trying to update my info. I tried emailing Afrigenas.com and I wasn't getting a response (so I thought!) My response from Afrigenas was coming into my mailbox with no subject. I got a new password and I was able to update info. I finally changed my user name from Theresa Slaughter-Carey to CheeChee. Hope you don't have to go through the same hurdles to update your info.
