I am not really sure either what the 1999 settlement was for either but I think they had put a cap for soething like 100 mil for new claims.
This Pigford Settlement was around 1.5 Bil to be included with the first claim.
I can't speak to the NA claim Seventies because all I have read or seen on the tube had to do with the Black Farmers.
I was wondering what happened to the Pigford fella that filed the original. Hats off to him for taking a stand.
