Re: Presidential Race - 2021

Yeah Art. I kind felt sorry for Jimmy Carter back, dealing with that hostage crisis. This cris fell around the time of his re-election.

So if we look closely at the Replublican Platform, it seems to me, that the rights of Americans, as a whole is slowly being chipped away. To use the excuse of a "bad economy" for closing public schools, after we've work so hard to get education to the masses, should be a crime. After all, these politions benefitted from this free education, and now they want to shut the door on the current generation of youths. Then you have the collective barganing rights being threatened, as well. - It was these unions who made the 8- hour work day, a common practice that we all enjoy, today. - Before that, it was work... from sun up, to sun down. - No health insurance, no benefits, no vacation pay. This was only achieved through their sacrifice. Collective bargaining.

In my opinion, we can't just cut our way, back to prosperity. Evenually, we'll have to manufacture products again, to sell to the rest of the world. - But the only way to create new products, and come up with new inventions, is to have an intelligent population.

It seems that we're cutting off our own noses to spite that "colored" face in the Whitehouse.... in my opinion.
