Ads come up on many ad income based sites, like AfriGeneas, because of a few different factors. One factor is keyword triggers. Based on the keywords in your post, you may get ads related to the subject of a posting. Another factor are cookies which are stored on your machine everytime you visit a website. The Ad driven site will pick up on your cookies and tailor ads based on recent sites you've visited. I get this quite a bit with the W Hotel. Third, companies paid for the ad space with the webhosting company to offer free or low-cost services to customers. I am willing to venture and say that AfriGeneas takes no political stance in matters such as the one you mentioned in your complaint.
