Bull Family of South Carolina

Has anyone been able to track their ancestors back to the Bull plantations of South Carolina? The Bulls had plantations at Coosaw Island (called Bull Island), Euhaws, and Toogoodoo.

Mary Brandford Bull was married to John Bull. On her death in 1772 she distributed her estate (over 400 slaves) amongst her four granddaughters: Mary Middleton BUTLER (wife of Major Pierce Butler), Sarah Middleton GUERARD (wife of Governor Benjamin Guerard), Mary Izard BREWTON (wife of Miles Brewton), and Elizabeth Izard BLAKE (wife of Daniel Blake).

Major Pierce Butler moved some of those South Carolina slaves to his coastal Georgia plantations (Hampton Point on St. Simon's Island, Butler's Island, and Little St. Simon's Island) in 1793.
