I know this post is super old but hopefully someone will see this. I am researching my Taliaferro/Toliver family from the Madison district (now Chilesburg/Ruther Glen are) of Caroline County. I can only trace them there but no where before then. I have search for a Jack Taliaferro born approximately 1842 and married a Harriet Redd.
