Outreach to AfriAm genealogists

Hello,
I posted a comment on your Facebook page, and would like to be sure that I'm able to reach someone.

I'm writing a paper for my MLIS degree. I'm interested in finding out how best to reach African American Genealogists. North-eastern archives, particularly the New Jersey State Archives where I work, have an abundance of genealogical records that are of interest to anyone researching the ancestry of African Americans. I have to create an outreach plan for this designated community. I've spoken with the few genealogists who use the NJ Archives, and this is how I discovered that our collections are sorely underused.

If you can comment, give me your thoughts, or an idea of where else, or whom else I can connect, I would really appreciate. I'll let you know what grade you've allowed me to get.
