My mother-in-law (Katherine Finley )who has passed and first cousin to Joe Louis use to tell us how he taught her how to fight because she was very white complected with straight red hair (mother was DonnieFinley) and the darker skinned girls always picking fights with her.They were very proud of Joes Accomplishments. She would sing the chant they sang when he beat Max Schmeling to my children all the time. She was very fortunate to take a picture with Joe Him in pajamas and in bed before he passed away.
