I know what you mean. I wish this had been around a few years ago because I spent $30.00 in search of my great grandmother, Cora Gibson's dc and on the last attempt they sent me a dc listing Cara Gipson, same death info and place--go figure. Had the database been available then, I would have saved a few dollars.
