Thanks to all who read and replied. Interestingly, beyond my family connection, the content of that letter demonstrated the inter-connectivity, networking & sharing in the AA communities not only within 25-30 miles of each other in the adjoining counties of Champaign, Logan & Miami, OH in west central Ohio, but with Oberlin, OH in Lorain Co., OH some 200 miles to the northeast ..... and this was more than 150+ years ago.

I'm betting those connections were not only through Family and Church, but also UGRR and Abolition activities in the AA community during the pre-Civil War period.
