I grew up hearing about "Brush Arbors" but did not see one until I was 8th grade when some church folk came to one house to pray for a resident who was ill. That eventually led to an attachment to the house, which older folk referred to as a brush arbor.

But later I heard of and read about "Hush Harbors" which sounded like Brush Arbors to me. Has anyone else seen or heard this reference, the Hush Harbors?
