On Wednesday, June 13th, we will be conducting an event titled “African American Roundtable II”. The AAR II is a moderated event designed to stimulate thought, reflection, and a meaningful exchange of ideas related to African American genealogy and the African American research community. Audience members will have the opportunity to pose questions or make comments to the extent that time allows. Participation will also be available through one or more forms of social media.
This is being offered as an additional activity for students attending the week long Institute for Genealogy and Historical Research (IGHR) at Samford University in Alabama.
Tim Pinnick will be the moderator, and Angela Walton-Raji will be the co-host and working to involve those not at IGHR via social media. Details and updates as they become available will be through the Facebook page below and whatever methods Angela brings to bear!
Join in and get a flavor of what is going on at IGHR and make this an even greater success by posting questions and comments.
